Refund Policy

AI Aware Certified™ is owned and operated by AI Aware LLC, a Wyoming-registered limited liability company. We provide digital training, certification materials, and downloadable resources that are delivered immediately upon purchase. Because of the nature of digital content, we offer a limited refund window under the conditions outlined below.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase and only if:

• You have completed less than 25% of the course, as measured by the LearnWorlds progress‑tracking system (modules marked "complete," videos viewed, quizzes attempted, or materials accessed), and
• No certificate has been issued for the course.

Refunds are not available after:

• Completing 25% or more of the course
• Accessing substantial downloadable materials
• Receiving a certificate of completion
• Participating in live sessions, coaching, or cohort-based components (if applicable)

2. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are non-refundable:

• Downloadable templates, checklists, or resources
• Certification exams or retake fees
• Coaching, consulting, or live training sessions
• Bundled offers where any included item has been accessed
• Gift purchases

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email aiaware@aiawarecertified.com with:

• Your full name
• The email used at checkout
• Order ID or receipt
• Reason for the request

We will review your request and respond within 3–5 business days.

4. Refund Method & Processing Time

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times vary by provider but typically take 5–10 business days.

Please note:

• Some payment processors do not return transaction fees; in such cases, these fees may be deducted from the refund amount.
• We cannot issue refunds to alternate accounts, cards, or payment methods.

5. Abuse Prevention

AI Aware LLC reserves the right to refuse refunds in cases of:

• Suspected fraud
• Excessive refund requests
• Account misuse
• Attempts to obtain certification without payment

6. EU / UK Digital Content Directive

By accessing the course content, you acknowledge and agree that you are receiving immediate access to digital content, and therefore waive the standard right of withdrawal under Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive. This acknowledgment is captured at checkout.

7. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
